Low-intensity focused ultrasound (LIFU) is a novel neuromodulation technique, which has been shown to be a promising alternative to conventional non-invasive brain stimulation methods, such as transcranial magnetic stimulation and transcranial current stimulation, due to its ability to target a deep-seated region of interests with higher spatial resolution.
