Within the Neurofeedback Institute of the Netherlands, we believe that Neurofeedback therapy can be a valuable addition to the existing treatment arsenal of psychologists and psychiatrists and in many cases can offer a meaningful alternative to psychotropic drugs such as methylphenidate (Ritalin) or antidepressants. Neurofeedback therapy focuses on reducing abnormalities in brain activity. Abnormal brain activity is at the root of psychological problems and with Neurofeedback the cause of these problems is therefore tackled. We are convinced that thanks to the learning capacity of the brain, it is able to break through dysfunctional patterns, thereby reducing psychological complaints without the use of psychotropic drugs. The Neurofeedback Institute Netherlands is one of the founders of Neurofeedback therapy in the Netherlands and in the past 15 years we have treated more than 3000 clients with various psychological complaints. With our extensive experience and expertise, we offer high-quality care that is always based on the most recent scientific insights.
